Here There Be Dragons
This morning we took the kids for a little hike at the Terra Linda/Sleepy Hollow Divide Open Space Preserve. We'd never been there before but it has the advantage of being really close to our house. It turned out to be a good walk with some nice views. After being so sick for so long, it was nice to be outside in the fresh spring air for a change.
For reasons only Porter can explain (and he's not talking), about midway through the walk he spotted some old oak trees and decided they were dragons. Why? Beats the heck out of us, but he was quite insistent that they were, in fact, dragons. And he continued to see and want to explore these dragons everywhere we looked.

After a good hour or so, we turned around and headed for home. Unfortunately, Porter wore out before that and insisted on being carried the last mile.
