Flu Me to the Moon
Rumor has the stomach flu is circulating around the east coast. Alice got sick on Moving Day Monday but appeared to have recovered by the time we flew home on Tuesday. Not one to miss out on a disease, I got it on Wednesday evening and Sarah got the chills last night at bedtime. So far, Porter hasn't gotten it (fingers crossed). I've still got it, however, though I'm finally able to keep food down.
If you're wondering what the little icon here is, it's a stuffed flu plush doll available from Giant Microbes. They carry about twenty different diseases and other microbes including black death, ebola, bad breath and even the yeast used to make beer and bread.
