Yak Attack: The Sequel
First, he and Sarah were playing trains when, without any warning, he unburdened himself from the yogurt he'd recently eaten all over himself and Percy, along with some freight cars and track. This was about five minutes before the school bus was due to arrive and take him to school. Luckily, Sarah was here because there was supposed to be an open house at Porter's school today. I suppose there still will be, but without the Brookston family in attendance.
After I walked up to the top of the hill and told the bus driver what had happened, we snuggled Porter in the snuggle chair. First Sarah, then I took over so she could nurse Alice. Porter was acting very tired and lethargic, but otherwise seemed okay when I took over. He seemed to be enjoying the TLC and I expected that he would be falling asleep any time now. Instead, and much to my surprise, he sat up and vomited for the second time this morning. And perhaps more importantly, all over me. Oh, well. Porter's now resting comfortably on his makeshift bed on the floor, watching an I Love Toy Trains DVD on the portable TV that we put in his room when he's sick.
Porter resting, just before he sat up and yakked in my lap.
