Another Sick Weekend
Around midnight Friday evening, Porter woke up with a high fever. We got the fever back down and him back to sleep but throughout the weekend, it kept coming back. So we pretty much hunkered down in the bunker all weekend, letting Porter rest and cleaning up various "hot spots" in the house that have needed our attention for some time now. The fever appears to finally have broken last night, also around midnight, and today, so far, so good. We kept him home from school since it's been less than 24 hours since the fever broke. But since he's going stir crazy, Sarah's folks took both him and Alice to their place for a change of scenery. Hopefully, it was just a 48-hour bug.
