Bite Me
I got a call from Porter's teacher just before he got home today on the bus. Apparently there had been an "incident" at school today. Porter's new friend Ryan, whose parents introduced us to the Halleck Creek horseriding charity, were playing around a tree when things took a turn for the cannibalistic. Ryan bit Porter on the upper arm near the shoulder. It doesn't look too bad. It didn't break the skin but it looks like it will leave a bruise. His teacher, Micki, said that Porter seemed upset by it, not because it hurt physically, but because Ryan is his friend and he was upset emotionally. She says he seems to be a sensitive person. By the time he got home, he seemed over it, although he did make a point of telling me about it when he got off the bus.
